Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Arthritis

New Research Alert: A study has revealed that hyperbaric oxygen therapy may reduce oxidative stress in rats with type II collagen-induced arthritis. This therapy, which involves exposing rats to 1.25 atmospheres absolute and an oxygen concentration of 36% for three weeks, showed potential benefits by lowering levels of oxidative stress markers compared to control groups. An exciting development for future arthritis treatments! Read more about the findings here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19779965/
